Ebola-inspired film, “93 Days” Premiere at The Rock Cathedral (Photos)
It received a standing ovation at the 2016 Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), and an even louder one as it again premiered in Nigeria on Tuesday, 13 September, 2016 at House on the Rock Church, Lekki, Lagos. “93 Days” – a Bolanle Austen-Peters Production, starring Bimbo Akintola, Danny Glover, Tim Reid, Somkele Idhalama, Keppy Ekpenyong Gideon Okeke and other talented actors, is a compelling story of dedication, sacrifice and resilience which celebrates the courage shown by the First Consultant Medical Team, the Lagos State & Federal Governments and well-meaning organisations in combating the Ebola virus, which broke out early 2014 in Nigeria.
Stars in the entertainment industry and celebrities including Bolanle Austen-Peters, Bimbo Akintola, who plays the role of late Dr. Stella Adadevoh, Joke Silva, Olu Jacob, , Chioma Chukwuka, Timi Dakolo, Michelle Dede, Ozzy Agu, Senator Chibuike Amaechi, Seun Ajayi, Sharon Ojong, Michelle Dede, Wole Ojo, Kenny Saint Brown, Essence and a host of others, came out in their numbers to view and support the casts and entire production team of 93 Days.
93 Days would be in the theatres from September 16, 2016.
