Today May 18, we celebrate two television screen stars;
Award winning talented Nollywood actor who made his big screen debut in the TV series ‘Domino’ in 2005.
The magnetic screen star has featured in many popular series including Domino, 168 and Doctors’ Quarters (MNet Production ). He is also known for his role as “Alahji Abubakar” aka Masters in the Nigerian hit TV series Tinsel, 30 Days, Domino, Accident, Broken, Damage, Two Brides and a Baby and a host of other movies.
Not just a television actor, the well grounded actor also has equally featured in reputable stage productions; he played Major Lejoka Brown in Ola Rotimi’s “Our Husband Has Gone Mad Again” and others
He has also earned a number of nominations for his work in the industry including; Best Supporting actor – 2014 Best of Nollywood Awards (nominated), Best Actor (African Collaboration) – 2012 Ghana Movie Awards (nominated), Best Actor – 2013 Golden Icons Academy Movie Awards (nominated) .
Kalu who recently starred in The Watchman has been announced as a facilitator in the forthcoming, highly anticipated Filmmaking & Acting Reality TV Project, Script2ScreenAfrica 2017, the mentorship edition.

Damilola Adegbite Attoh
Starring in big time productions including Tinsel and Flower Girl, Damilola is doing quite well for herself.
She also gained additional fame when she tied the knot with dashing actor/ television personality Chris Attoh in 2015.
Damilola won Best Actress in a TV Series at the 2011 Nigeria Entertainment Awards.
Recently she launched her Alpha Woman project,” which is aimed at empowering women.
The actress whose marriage to Chris has been reportedly on shaky grounds recently revealed, without details however that she had just had a life threatening surgery.
Damilola was cast in Adesuwa Onyenokwe’s Debut Film “Chatroom”, which addresses abuse against women.
