The duo of Super Falcons stars, Asisat Oshoala and Desire Oparanozie, have unanimously criticized the Amaju Pinnick led Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) for paying lip service to the female national team.

“Over 8 months without regrouping. THIS IS NO LONGER ACCEPTABLE. What Is Our Vision? We need an explanation,” Oshoala  posted on her Twitter handle.

The Dalian Quanjian FC of China attacker condemned lack of games for the Falcons since winning the African Women Cup of Nations last December in Cameroon.  The former Arsenal Ladies star took to Twitter on Tuesday to query the team’s inactivity in the last eight months.

It  would seem Oparanozie was waiting for Oshoala to make the first move, as a few  hours, she joins in the diatribe when she tweets : “Over 8 months indeed. Since after Nations cup no form of regrouping whatsoever. Which way Nigerian Football Federation? Other African nations have caught up with us, we’re still a shadow of ourselves on the world stage….yet it doesn’t bother the people leading us.

“Let’s build for the younger generation. We need international/quality friendlies #WeSpeakInOneVoice #ThisIsNoLongerAcceptable #EqualTreatment #NFF #CAF #FIFA.”
