Good times are here for American based music and show promoter, Aare Ademola Oyefeso. He was responsible for the successful musical tour of different artistes like, Sir Shina Peters, Lagbaja, Adewale Ayuba, Orlando Owo, Kwam 1, Queen Salawa Abeni and a host of other artistes in the United States. He is well connected and highly respected. Any social function he graces, his presence will be felt, as his gait and weight command a lot of respect and cannot be unnoticed.
Back in the United States, the socialite was for five years the President of ‘Egbe Omo Yoruba’ in New York and was instrumental in acquiring the Yoruba House edifice at Staten Island in New York where Yoruba people converge for meetings and further promote the rich Yoruba culture.
Happenings gathered that he was recently honoured with a ‘Life Time Patron’ award by the Officers Mess of the Nigeria Airforce, Shasha, Idimu base in Lagos. The award was conferred on him for his numerous contributions to the base. He was also recognised for his philanthropic deeds.
It will be recalled that a few months ago, the show promoter’s first daughter, Dolapo, gave birth to his first grandchild, a baby boy, in the US. He was super delighted as he threw a naming ceremony for friends and associates here in Nigeria at the Civil Service Club in GRA Ikeja, Lagos.
