A member of the House of Representatives Hon. Elijah Adewale today Thursday July 21 died.
The late honourable was said to be representing Ifako Ijaiye Constituency of Lagos State.
Elijah Adewale slumped and died this morning in his Abuja residence.
Reports say Adewale had earlier attended the caucus meeting of the House of Representatives yesterday before his sudden death.
Adewale was a former Special Adviser on Education during former Lagos State governor Babatunde Fashola’s administration.
Prior to becoming a member of the House of Representatives, Adewale was Chairman ifako/ijaiye Local Government from 2004 to 2007.
He obtained a bachelor’s degree in 1979 from the University of Nigeria Nsukka.
In the 2015 elections, he contested for the Federal House of representatives under the Platform of the All Progressive Congress (APC) and Won to represent Ifako-Ijaiye Federal Constituency.
He was 65 years old.
