New Era of Change, a Pro-Buhari group converged on Thursday at Allen Avenue Roundabout, Ikeja, for a mega rally in support of the President Muhammadu Buhari-led government.
The mega rally which started from Ikeja area of the state saw protesters marching towards Alausa Secretariat, where the office of the state government is located. The three major tribes in Nigeria, Yoruba , Hausa and Igbos were ably represented.
The protesters armed with placards and banners displaying various inscriptions such as: ‘PMB as a leader exudes Integrity’; ‘PMB as an institution reflects accountability; ‘Support the Buhari government’, chanted songs to show solidarity to the Buhari-led government and its policies in the face of various people-oriented programmes and projects being executed by the current administration despite the fact that the nation’s economy is in recession.
Security was provided by Nigerian Police Force department / Uni of RRS Lagos , Alausa Division and Grammar School Division .
