Acting President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo has been enjoined to shrug off intimidation that may come his way in his bid to fight corruption in the country. Renowned Muslim Cleric, Sheikh Muyideen Ajani Bello stated this at the 8-day special Fidau prayer for the late mother of Governor Rauf Aregbesola, Alhaja Saratu Aregbesola in Ilesha.
The Cleric charged Prof. Osinbajo not to be intimidated by some powerful forces, fighting a cold war to thwart the anti-corruption crusade of the Government. “I want our acting president, Professor Yemi Osinbajo not to be cowed by some powerful forces, fighting very hard to tackle the Buhari’s government in its fight against endemic corruption in the country. You should not relent until all the thieves, who stole the nation commonwealth are brought to book”.
The matriarch of Aregbesola’s family died on 1st August, 2017 at the age of 84.
