The sum of $153m looted public funds have been linked to former Petroleum Minister, Mrs. Diezani Alison-Madueke alongside two former Group Managing Directors (GMDs) and three former Executive Directors (EDs) of the NNPC following investigations by the EFCC.
It was discovered by operatives of the anti-graft agency during the course of investigation, that some upscale properties home and abroad have been linked to the former minister. Specifically, the EFCC discovered Diezani’s secret multi-billion estate located on Diepreye Alamieyeseigha Street, off Goodluck Jonathan Road in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.
According to reports, Acting Chairman of the EFCC, Mr Ibrahim Magu has escaped the country following the recent development.
