He might be cheering the most hated artistes league with his not so spotless reputation and outspoken personality, but that’s not holding Chris Brown down musically! Now how awesome is that?
Following the huge backlash he received after his not so subtle comments about singer Kehlani’s suicide attempt saying she just wanted attention, but he’s got a massive compensation as yesterday, after the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) sent in their reports, confirming that the singer’s 2011 album F.A.M.E. went Gold in April 2015 and hit double platinum by March 31, 2016. Also, his 2012 album Fortune went Gold on March 25, 2016, and was Platinum same day.
Celebrating this feat on social media, the father of one daughter thanked fans for sticking by his side all through the tumultuous times.
“Team Breezy, you did it all,” he wrote on Instagram, adding, “All the hate in the world could never amount to the love y’all give me. And I give all.”
