2010 – China set to become the world’s largest exporting nation –  Reports from the General Administration of Customs (G.A.C.) state that China will almost certainly overtake Germany in becoming the world’s largest exporter, even though its 2009 exports have fallen 16% from its 2008 ones.

2014 – Nigeria’s military confirmed that it was to release 167 people who were detained as part of counter-insurgency operations against Boko Haram militants in three northeast states; Borno, Yobe, Adamawa states.
