The 6th edition of Lights Camera Africa Film Festival themed Music makes the Peopletook place from 30th September – 2nd October 2016 at The Marquee, Federal Place Hotel, Lagos.

The three day festival dedicated to screening the very best of emerging, fresh, independent African cinema and in particular celebrating the musical voice of film, was an unabashed display of works of film that speak to the power of music and indeed other art forms to create love, express sorrow, build bridges and end wars.

This year’s edition featured 23 independent films with musical themes from over 14 countries and also showcased literature, visual art, live music, providing opportunities for talks and networking.

  1. No wonder Lagos is one of the right places for an upcoming artiste/fashionista to start up.
Because there are varieties of events to attend and to acquire more knowledge from.
Interesting people to connect with and build business relationships.
And much more opportunities if you have your game on.

Colourful Africa Film Festival I must say.
    Way to go Africa!

  2. Nigeria is really going places. This is highly commendable. With a blend of both and mixed races the sky is our limit!
It’s always encouraging to see our very own film makers, script writers, story tellers, Producers, Directors and all, coming together to put Nigeria on the world map.

    Kudos guys!
