Barely two months after the elected Local Government Chairmen were sworn-in in Lagos State, appointment into key positions in the 57 Local Government and Local Council Development Areas in the State are yet-to-be made.

The vacant positions are the post of the Secretary to the Local Government SLG, and Supervisory Councillors. The delay is however, fueling series of speculations.

News reaching Happenings.com.ng has it that the list for appointment into these positions is ready, but the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state are reportedly waiting for the National leader of the party, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to append his signature to the list before it will be officially released.

The former Lagos State Governor is said to be out of the country. A reliably source informed us that Tinubu is in London and will be back any moment from now.
