Chief Mrs Kemi Nelson Urges Women To Collect Their PVC


In fulfilment of the promise made on the 26th of March 2018, at the police college ground Ikeja, where Lagos Women for Akinwunmi Ambode (LAWAA) converge to endorse the Lagos State Governor, Mr Akinwunmi Ambode for a second term in office.

The Convener of LAWAA,Chief Mrs Kemi Nelson, in the presence of APC Women Leader South West Hon. Olayinka Oladunjoye, Chairman LAWAA, Hon. Princess Folashade Olabanji-Oba, who is the Chairman Media for LAWAA and
Other LAWAA committee members, presented cheques to the adjudged best five local government areas in Lagos state.

They recipients are as follows; Ist position goes to Ikeja Local Government #250,000, The second position goes to Surulere Local Government #200,000, the Third position goes to Ifako-Ijaiye Local Government #150,000,
Ojokoro Local Government #150,00, as fourth and Mushin Local Government #150,00, as the fifth best.

The presentation ceremony held at the APC Secretariat on Acme Road, Ogba-Ikeja.

Speaking to Newsmen at the event, Chief Mrs Nelson encouraged women in the state to mobilize for the collection of PVCs so as to ensure a landslide victory for the Governor come 2019.

She explained further that the monetary gift given out was sourced by the committee and not collected from the Governor or any of his aides.

While appreciating the committee on behalf of other women, the Chairperson of LAWAA Ikeja Local Government Mrs Balogun Abigael, promised to mobilize women in the state to ensure a resounding victory for Governor Ambode at the polls in 2019.
