According to reports, Davido and his crew were unruly at the arrival section of the
Muritala International Airport (NMIA).
The music star and his aides single handedly halted activities at the airport, when they got into an altercation over baggage tags.
An aide to Davido, called Kayode was at the centre of the brouhaha and it is said he exchanged blows with airport officials trying to do their jobs.
Kayode had refused to allow Airport staff verify luggages with attached tags belonging to the singer. An argument ensued and he threw the first blow at the official, giving him a bloody nose.
His hostility attracted security personnel at the Airport and Kayode was immediately detained.
At this time, Davido had exited the airport and was waiting in a car for the release of his luggages, when he was told about what had transpired, he tried to ease the situation by doling out money to Airport officials.
According to reports his aide and luggages were not released and it is believed one of the 17 bags under dispute is said to contain a large sum of money in foreign currencies.
