In what can only be described as an emotional moment, Dele Momodu and Nigerian artiste Davido finally buried the hatchet, at the Ovation Carol, which held on the 17th of December 2017.

Recall that the duo have been on opposites sides, so much so that Davido would openly ridicule Dele Momodu in his songs, with the famous statement “Dele na my boy”.

Hostilities between the Ovation publisher and OBO began in 2015, when Davido made attempts to take his daughter Imade abroad without his baby mama’s permission- Sophia Momodu.

As Dele Momodu’s niece, Sophia brought the matter to him, in a bid to get his intervention, this had the Ovation publisher involved in a heated argument at the airport.

However Davido having no respect for him, rudely responded by ridiculing him in the song ‘Osinachi’ in which he was featured by the artiste Humblesmith.

After being in conflict for so long, Davido tendered a public apology at the Ovation carol, after his father, Dr. Adeleke interceded.
