Khloe Kardashian talking inspiration! The Kardashian star who made a recent admission that this year 2015, has been her “worst year” ever, decided to go a little bit more detailed in a Q&A video on her website on Friday, Nov. 27, revealing how she copes with the bad times.
“Sometimes a little bit of ice cream helps,” the reality star, 31, told a fan who’d asked her via Twitter, “What keeps you going when you get down in the dumps?”
“But you know what, music is a mood-changer,” she added. “If I’m sad and I’m going to listen to something sad, a love song or whatever, I’m just gonna be sadder and cry. And sometimes you need a good cry but you cannot sit balled up in a corner and just ‘Oh, woe is me.’ Everyone is allowed to have their day, everyone’s allowed to feel bad, but you’ve got to get over it. You’ve got to get up. Go to the gym, get some endorphins going in you.”
Kardashian spent weeks by her estranged husband Lamar Odom’s side in the hospital after he was found unconscious at a Nevada brothel in October. And in an interview with the San Diego Union-Tribune earlier this month she admitted that going to the gym helped her deal with the stress of the sad situation.
“Just recently I’ve been in the hospital for almost three-and-a-half weeks straight, and finally everyone was saying, “Khloe, you have to get out of the hospital and do something that’s for you,'” the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star said. “I had such anxiety going to the gym, but as soon as I left, I felt like, ‘Oh my God, I’m okay. I’m human again.’ I just felt so good. But for those three weeks, I didn’t think about the gym because I was thinking about other things, and I don’t beat myself up about it.”
In her Twitter Q&A the Strong Looks Better Naked author admitted that she works out “so much better” when she’s sad or upset. “I have so much more energy and I’m angry or whatever.”
