Former BBA contestant and actress, Beverly Osu has been off the radar for a while. So, we reached out to her to inquire what she has been up to and what she has planned out for the rest of the year.
Here is what she had to say:
If you had a chance to do anything right now, what would it be?
Laughs! If I had the chance to do anything right now, the truth is I don’t really know what it will be or what chances come with it. It’s true what they say about ‘taking each day as it comes’.
What is the worst experience you’ve had with a fan before?
It was a while back, I can’t really remember when. I was in Abuja for an official assignment and while taking a stroll I bumped into this female fan who screamed my name, she requested for an autograph which I obliged and signed then she went ahead to ask if she could follow me to my hotel. I carefully declined on her last request.
How has your present status as a celebrity changed your relationship with any of your close friends?
Well the truth is I have lost a lot and I have made some new friends, but trust me my circle is small especially when it comes down to the kind of girlfriends I keep. I love every bit of it so far.
How has your journey been in acting so far? And has there ever been a time you couldn’t interpret a role?
I give thanks to the Almighty God for all he has done in my acting career so far, it has been worthwhile. Waje once said to me that: ‘if you think sey this life easy, Ezekiel for dey New Testament’. Sometimes I get really confused based on characterisation and expression, but like they say, it only gets better. I am getting there.
What are you currently working on?
Right now I’m working on developing and establishing my NGO (Dwelling Support Foundation) which is based on the slum development and I’m also on a set of a new movie with Daniel Lloyd and Blossom on a beautiful storyline.
