The Lagos State Chief Judge, Justice Olufunmilayo Atilade is set to retire from active service.

Justice Atilade is expected to officially bow out as the Chief Judge of Lagos on Sunday, September 24, 2017.

During her goodbye visit to the Executive Governor of Lagos State, Akinwunmi Ambode at Lagos House, Alausa, Ikeja, Justice Atilade said the essence of her coming around was to appreciate the Governor for providing a conducive atmosphere and cordial working relationship between the executive and the judicial arm of government in the State while her tenure lasted.

“On behalf of the Lagos State Judiciary, I’ll like to say a big thank you to His Excellency for all he has done, he is doing and will continue to do for the Lagos State Judiciary. I pray that as I leave, the cordial relationship between the three arms of government would continue and become better,” she said.
