Comedienne Kathy Griffin and her lawyer, Lisa Bloom, are set to hold a press conference to explain her decision to do a crass photo shoot in which she held up a prop resembling President Trump’s severed head.
Griffin posted the photos on her Twitter account on Tuesday, but quickly removed them and apologized after receiving backlash.
Despite posting an apology video in which she admits to going to ‘too far,’ Griffin seems to be preparing to criticize the ‘bullying’ from the President and his family in her conference scheduled to hold today, Friday.
In a tweet, Griffin’s lawyer Lisa Bloom said she and Griffin will ‘explain the true motivation behind the image, and respond to the bullying from the Trump family she has endured.’
Bloom posted the full press statement to her Twitter, with the message: ‘Proud to announce that I represent Kathy Griffin.’ The release goes on to name the time and place of the conference.
After Griffin posted the photos, the Trump family were just a few of numerous individuals who attacked the comedienne and TV host, calling what she did inappropriate and classless.
