Kemi Nelson, the former Lagos state commissioner is heartbroken. And to worsen the situation, she suffered major blows twice in one week.
Nelson is particularly aggrieved that she lost her position as Woman Leader of the Lagos state chapter of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) to her fierce rival Jumoke Okoya Thomas.
Although in the same political party Kemi and Jumoke are fierce rivals and do not see eye to eye. They are forever exploring ways to outdo each other. The reason for their fierce enmity is yet to be confirmed as at the time of filling this report.
Kemi was still suffering from the heartbreak of being edged out of her current claim to fame within the party by her loathed rival, when she suffered another major blow. Her attempt to put a loyalist as deputy woman leader had scaled through all scrutiny and was poised for announcement before Jumoke got wind of things and scattered the arrangement.
Making it double victories for the enemy in a major battle. The former commissioner is still battling with the pains inflicted, while her enemy sings songs of victory all over town.
