The immediate past governor of Ekiti State, Peter Ayodele Fayose has moved to his Banana Island home in Ikoyi, Lagos.
Fayose moved to the multi-million naira mansion last week Monday after meeting his N50million naira bond, which is one of his bail conditions.
Fayose who is on trial before the court on an 11 count charge of money laundering of N6.9billion was denied freedom to celebrate his mother’s 80th birthday.
There was an adequate plan for the celebration in Lagos but his incarceration fell on his mother birthday’s date.
Furthermore, Fayose has also been denied international travel privileges as the court ordered him to deposit his international passport.
This will enable the court to have Fayose’s presence at any given time during the court proceedings
The embattled former governor will be reporting to the EFCC Lagos office from home pending the court trial.
