Matip made it two nil when he headed home Alexander-Arnold’s corner on 21 mintes on his first start this season.

Salah made it three when he tapped in from close range after Shaqiri’s free-kick bounced of the crossbar.

The win meant Liverpool have now won all of their first seven games at the start of a season for the first time in the club’s history.
