Manchester United suffer blow in Kevin De Bruyne pursuit

Manchester United have been dealt a blow in their pursuit of Wolfsburg playmaker Kevin De Bruyne, according to the latest gossip.
United’s De Bruyne hopes take hit: Wolfsburg boss Dieter Hecking says that Manchester United target Kevin De Bruyne will remain at his current club for at least another season, according to a report in the Express.

The former Chelsea playmaker has starred for the German outfit this season and has been heavily linked with a return to the Premier League in the summer, with Manchester United touted as a possible destination.

The Express claim that United boss Louis van Gaal is preparing a £30 million offer for the 23-year-old, but the Dutchman may now have to turn his attention elsewhere after the Wolfsburg boss insisted the Red Devils will have to wait until 2016.

The Wolves tactician said: “I think he would benefit from another year in the Bundesliga. That’s what I would want. Kevin feels good, he’s enjoying a good season and it is clear that he is in very, very good hands with us. I don’t see him going anywhere in the summer.”
