Morning After ‘Black Thursday’… Sifting Through the Wreckage


Lagos is still coming to terms with the heart wrenching devastation yesterday, 28th of June, 2018, that occurred on Lagos-Ibadan expressway, along Otedola bridge axis of Berger in Lagos. See here

According to reports from the Lagos State Police Command , over 50 vehicles were consumed in the inferno and 9 lives have been lost so far.

The morning after the Lagos fire, is no better as Lagosians are unable rid themeselves of the aftermath of the inferno. Emergency Agencies are on ground sifting through the wreckage and redirecting traffic. The gridlock still persists at the moment.

While 9 persons have been confirmed dead, several are in the hospital getting treated for burns and others have been declared missing. 3-Year-Old Eyitayo is Declared Missing

The presidency,Lagos State Government and several Nigerians have come out to commiserate with the victims of the Lagos fire disaster.

There have also been a wide spread condemnation of why a fuel laden tanker without brakes, was on a Lagos road in the first place.
