After six years of non-performance, the Performing Musicians Association of Nigeria (PMAN), Ogun State Chapter has been resurrected. The association came back to life when the newly appointed executive were sworn-in recently.
The UK Chairman of PMAN, Ogun State, Evang. Damola Omonijo said, “ it is not that the association has gone into extinction, but they are working on how to rebrand it. PMAN, can’t die because it is the only association that unites all musicians in Nigeria, but some issues which came up in our chapter in the past, affected the growth.
“We got instruction from PMAN Abuja’s Secretariat to bring back the association. We have now resurrected PMAN for unity. Our Chairman, Musiliu Haruna Ishola really tried his best to put PMAN, Ogun State Chapter on track but he did not get enough supports from people” she hinted.
