At the 60th birthday celebration of Afro Juju music maestro, Sir Shina Peters (SSP), several important personalities, sent him goodwill messages via Happenings

Bisi Olatilo (Media Personality): Sir Shina Peters is my younger friend by 5 years, he has been with me in the last 33 years and we have done lots of things together. He is like my family friend and I am happy about his growth in the music industry, he has done very well for himself. My goodwill message for him is this, we welcome him into the Diamond club, I would like to thank God for his life. I wish him all the best, I hope he slows down, because he is 60, although he doesn’t look 60.
Mayor Mayowa Gbenga Adewuse (CEO Mayowa Films and Record International): My brother, my good friend, we love him very much, we appreciate him and admire him and I am happy that we are here today to celebrate him, at 60 and I pray that we will all be in a better position to celebrate him at 70, 80 and 90, that he will keep moving. The sky is not the limit but the very beginning for Sir Shina Peters in Jesus Mighty name I pray. We have worked together for so many years and we are still working together.
