Pitbull to release sophomore Spanish album

Pitbull is dropping his second Spanish-language album, named ‘Dale.’

Born Armando Christian Pérez, his last Spanish-language album was released in 2010, when he dropped his eponymous fifth studio album, Armando. He took to Twitter to announce the new album and title.

The upcoming effort follows up 2014’s ‘Globalization’, which peaked at No. 18 on the Billboard 200 and featured the FIFA World Cup anthem ‘We Are The One (Ole Ola)’ as well as the party-friendly ‘Fireball,’ and the hit ‘Time Of Our Lives.’

Back in 2010, he spoke to Latina magazine about his decision to do an all-Spanish album.

“There’s no difference at all,” he told them of recording in Spanish vs. English. “I grew up with both languages and to me, they both feel natural and I love performing both of them.”
