It was a bitter moment for the family and friends of Gbadebowale Wayne Aboderin. They were sad that he did not live long to continue his good work on earth.
If tears could build a stairway, And memories a lane, we’ll walk right up to Heaven And bring you home again. These were the words of Aboderin family as Wayne Aboderin finally laid to rest.
The deceased passed away on the 30th May 2018, and he is survived by his wife, Titilayo and children.
The three days event kicks start with Service of Song, on Wednesday 13th, at His Residence Punch Estate, Mangoro, Lagos. General Overseer of Trinity House of Zion Center, Pastor Ituah Ighodalo was the officiating minister while Pastor Akinola Fasawe and Apostle Kayode Aboderin prayed for the family.
The wake keep took place the following day at the Haven Events Centre, Oba Akinjobi Street, Ikeja, Lagos. It was a night of outpouring tributes from family and friends of Wayne Aboderin where they shared testimonies of his good deeds when he was alive that moved the audience into tears.
The church service took place at the Diocese of Lagos West, Archbishop Vining Memorial Church Cathedral, GRA, Ikeja, Lagos.
In attendance were Notable Nigerians at the includes, Former Lagos State Deputy Governor, Otunba Femi Pedro, Former Speaker, Edo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Justin Okonoboh, Director, Corporate and Government Affairs, West Africa, Bala Yesufu, The Chairman Troyka Group, Mr. Biodun Shobanjo.
Also in attendance were, Chairman of Forte Oil Plc, Chairman Thisday Group, Mr. Nduka Obaigbena Chairman Ovation Media Group, Bashorun Dele Momodu, Mr. Femi Otedola, Segun Obe, Tunde & Wunmi Obe, CEO Ksquare Security, Mr. Kunle Komolafe, Publisher Encomium Magazine, Mr. Kunle Bakare, Director/Editor-in-Chief, Punch Newspapers, Mr. Ademola Osinubi.
