Today we remember one of Hollywood’s finest actors and Stand-up comedians, Robin Williams who would have turned 66!

Famed star known for lead roles in the films Dead Poets Society, Hook, Mrs. Doubtfire, Patch Adams, Jumanji and Good Morning, Vietnam. He voiced the genie in the Aladdin films and graced the screens ever since his debut in 1977 low-budget comedy Can I Do It… ‘Til I Need Glasses?. His first major performance is as the title character in Popeye (1980).

The late actor who landed his breakthrough role in Mork & Mindy won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in the 1997 film Good Will Hunting. During his lifetime he had an enviable career; bagging five Grammys, four Golden Globes, two Screen Actors Guild Awards, two Emmys, and an Oscar!

He was married to Valerie Velardi from 1978 to 1988, Marsha Garces from 1989 to 2010 and Susan Schneider from 2011 to 2014. Robin had a daughter Zelda Rae Williams an actress and sons named Zachary and Cody.

He was born July 21, 1951 but took his life Aug 11, 2014 (age 63).
