Shocker! Aggrieved Youths In Kwara Move for Saraki’s Removal (Photo Inside)

If the news reaching us from Kwara State is anything to go by, then the Senate President, Bukola Saraki may be facing challenges in the days ahead, as posters of his recall from the Senate flood Ilorin, the Kwara State capital.

The circulating posters, which were glued and shared by a group known as ‘Kwara Must Change’ were spotted around strategic positions in Ilorin and highways in the state on Tuesday morning.

The message on the posters go thus: “Kwara is not represented at the senate, our senator only represents his personal interest”.

The sudden resurgence of posters in Ilorin metropolis, may not be unconnected to the court ruling of yesterday which upheld the recall process of Senator Dino Melaye, representing Kogi West in the red chambers by the Independent National Electoral Commission.

It will be recalled that earlier in the year, some youth groups in Ilorin had declared interest to initiate the recall process of the senate president but could not further their intention for reasons best known to them.

It is however not certain if this set are the same people or a new group.
