Dillian Whyte has promised to give AJ some “whupping” when the time is right as he is more focused on Chisora.
The ‘Villian’ who is getting set for his rematch against Derek Chisora could get a shout for Joshua’s heavyweight title with a second win against his fellow Brit.
The 30-year-old is focused on their fight on December 22 and would only think about Joshua after it.
Joshua defeated Whyte to win the British heavyweight title in 2015 in what is his only defeat till date.
Speaking Sky Sports, Whyte said:
“He’s living his life but I’m here training. I’m not bothered by what he’s doing. He can do what he wants.
“He’s doing what all the big stars do.
“When his time comes to get his whupping, I will give it to him. But for now, I will focus on Derek.
“It’s Derek’s time now.”
Joshua has announced his next fight will be at the Wembley stadium on April 13. His opponent however, is still unknown.
There’s been much talk about a Joshua Vs Wilder fight but both men are yet to agree terms.
