Excerpts…
What are you doing differently this year?

l want to do more of humanitarian work this year than I did last year.

What plans do you have to celebrate your birthday this year?

My birthday is on 14th of February 2018 and I will be dedicating the day to humanity. I will be at Pacelli school for the blind at surulere,Lagos, tomorrow, 15th February 2018. Where I will cut my birthday cakes and also dance with them. However l will have my birthday party in late April or first week in May, this year.

Before the party, I will also organize an unskilled labour programme for 20 youths, where they will go for their training and we shall present them with the gadgets they are going to work with and celebrate together.

This is my way of giving back to the society that has been supporting me for years. This year makes 21 years of being in Nollywood.

What would you like to change about yourself now that you are 40 years old?

l will like to be calmer. I am always in a hurry to do things but now, I need to be more mature, especially, when dealing with my kids. I discovered by shouting most of the times does not help matters, I just want to take it easy and be calmer and have a strong bond with my kids.

What about your spiritual life?

I have never been a fanatic. I believe my relationship with God has to be individual, because, the Bible says we should love our neighbour as we love ourselves and try to impact other people’s live positively one way or the other and this has to do with my spirituality with God.

What new thing are you doing in your NGO this year?

The project of impacting into people’s lives is coming under my passion against rape and abuse (PARA) NGO. It is for the girl child and also for the youths not to be abused psychologically and otherwise. Inspite of the fact that, some people are stealing Nigerian money and still do nothing to impact lives posititively, especially the lives of the youths. I am doing my own part in my little ways, a lots of people could as well take it further to make this country better.

Are you fulfilled at 40?

Well, life is continuous, I shall continue to strive further but so far,I thank God for where I am.

What message do you have for Nigerian leaders?

They should build a structure for us. Its high time for them to know that we need a film village and film school to standardize our industry.

What is your last message to your fans?

I am saying a big thank you to them.Without them, there is no me in the industry. They should continue to pray for me as I wish them the very best.
