Beautiful Nigerian born Irish banker, Tina Atinuke Akinola has got yet another feathers over her headgear. The woman of substance was last Saturday, September 8 honoured with a new chieftaincy title of Odibeze Ndigbo of Ireland by the Ohaneze Ndigbo in Dublin, Ireland.
The colourful event was part of the activities that heralded the 2018 New Yam Festival in Ireland and the 10th anniversary celebration of the Ohanaeze Ndi Igbo in Ireland.
The event, tagged, A Night of Culture, Music and Dance which was held at the prestigious Clayton Hotel, former Clarion hotel located at Liffey Valley, Lucan Co.Dublin had prominent Igbo sons and daughtérs including the Nigerian community in attendance.
The peak of the cultural night was the conferment of the Odibeze Ndigbo crown on the Irish banker, Chief Tina Atinuke Akinola by the Eze Ndigbo of Ireland, HRH Eze Emeka Ezeani.
The title was endorsed by Chief Nnadozie Olumba, the Chairman, Ohanaeze Ndigbo in Ireland and Chief Chidi Uzoukwu esq., the secretary general of the Ohanaeze Ndigbo in Ireland and other prominent Igbo high chiefs in Ireland.
The new title is the third chieftaincy honour to be conferred on the fashionable woman in three years.
The successful mother of three grown up kids was installed as the Yeye Oge of Araland, Ife Kingdom by the Alara Oodaye of Araland, Oba Adebisi S. Layade (Aderotimi1) in 2014 while she was also honoured with Yeye Oge of Ireland in 2016.
