1991- Liz Taylor known  for her role as Cleopatra marries husband No. 7, construction worker Larry Fortensky, in a ceremony held at the pop singer Michael Jackson’s Neverland Ranch in California. The pair divorced in 1996.


1995 – Pa. Alfred Rewane a chieftain of the National Democratic Coalition (NADECO), a pro-democratic group is murdered in his home in Lagos by unknown gunmen.


1987 – Microsoft announced its first Windows application, Excel.

  1. Elvis Presley King of Rock ‘n’ Roll. A happy anniversary on the recording of your song “You Don’t Have To Say You Love Me” and many other songs. But wait oh, remember that lead actor in ‘Twilight’ Robert Pattinson, he looks a bit like Elvis Preseley (abi na my eyes?) Let me face front mbok.

    That’s why I just love these Oyibo people especially the Late Lizzy Taylor.. see eh, dem no send o. If marriage no work na to move on o..

    Africa is just the opposite but we are gradually getting our feet, just gradually.

    Elvis Preselys name will always be remembered even in death as he was one of the greatest rock stars ever..
