Ogbonna Kanu, Laura Ikeji’s husband has reacted to stories making rounds that he had previously been married to a Brit, Hannah Turay, who he shares two children with.

In a post on his Instagram page, the ex-footballer debunked rumours of a ‘previous marriage’ stating categorically that he had never been married and that Laura is his only wife.

This is coming after Turay shared a photo of herself with Laura’s husband and their kids which fuelled rumours about a “previous marriage” to the Turay before he married Laura.

It also was reported that Kanu, 2013 lost some of his assets to the lady after she took Ogbonna to court over an alleged infidelity claim.

Kanu has however, quelled the rumours while also stating that he has a cordial relationship with the mother of his kids.

He wrote:

“People, I just want to let you all know that I was not married prior to my marriage to Laura. I’m happy to be married to Laura, my wife. I have two lovely kids but was not married. I’m cordial with the mother of my two wonderful children but we were not together when I met my wife Laura is my only wife and I love her God bless you all.”

Laura also came out to clear the air as she made a comment on her hubby’s post saying Ogbonna has only be married once…..to her.

She wrote:

“This nicca of mine has only being married ONCE in his entire life. N that’s to me. He has 2 beautiful and well trained kids that I love and adore. Ogbonna and I are beyond husband n wife. We’re like siblings. I adore this man”.

In a turn of events, Hannah Turay, in a comment on Ogbonna’s post, has fired back at the duo asking that they (Ogbonna and Laura) keep her kids and herself out of their ‘egoistic arguments’.

She wrote:

“I don’t know where this is coming from and my comment will have to be brief. I ❤ my kids and is sought of a shame and quite unhealthy for them to be seeing these pity stuff. I will suggest that both me and my kids are left out of people’s egotistic arguments. I teach them to respect other privacy and so that shouldn’t be hard for grownups too”.
