Besides the Super Eagles who have risen above their world cup low, by beating Iceland, West African Country, Senegal has been impressive so far as they won their first match against Poland on the 19th of June, 2018 in a 2-1 score line.

Having secured an initial 3 point with the win against Poland, Senegal is set to clash with Japan today, 24th June, 2018, at 4pm, West African Time in an expectant match as a win against Japan would solidify their chances of getting into the next stage of the biggest tournament on earth, the FIFA World Cup 2018, currently being hosted in Russia.

Other matches scheduled for today are England and Panama, at 1pm, West African Time; Colombia and Poland, at 7pm, West African Time.

Recall that Egypt, Tunisia and Morocco are currently at the bottom of their respective tables and may not move on to the next stage. Thus Nigeria and Senegal may be the only African countries in the World Cup.

Even then, Nigeria’s position on the table is quite precarious as she needs a win in the clash against Argentina on Tuesday, 26th, June 2018, 7pm, West African Time.

Good luck to the Lions of Teranga!
